Following its Eau de Parfum, Parfums Givenchy are pleased to introduce the mysterious world of Ange ou Démon that has now been enriched with a new creation: the Extract.

The ultimate fragrance expression, extract has always been considered the height of fragrance luxury. A concentrate of the very highest quality ingredients, it diffuses an uncommon richness and elegance on the skin of the connoisseurs who use it. To create a legendary extract, it is not enough to transpose the original formula and increase the quantity of the rarest ingredients; the fragrance’s personality must also be accentuated and its unique qualities highlighted. Fully aware of the difficulties inherent to this process, Givenchy carefully chose essences and absolutes capable of accentuating the mystery of Ange ou Démon Eau de Parfum.
Disconcerting duality
Flirting with both virginal innocence and dangerous darkness, Ange ou Démon reveals an exclusive olfactory signature that is immediately recognisable, with luminous middle notes of lily contrasting with profound oakwood absolute. In this way, its two perfumers pushed the fragrance’s disconcerting duality to an extreme. They intensified the base notes of oakwood, rosewood and vanilla to enhance its comforting aspects and added patchouli from Indonesia – a richly textured ingredient which gives the fragrance heady new charms and makes every sensitive note of the woody accords already present in the original formula vibrate.
The middle notes – a bouquet of lily, Maxilaria orchid and ylang-ylang – have been enriched with another white flower, as delectable as it is sensual: an absolute of Tunisian orange blossom petals with a strong emotional resonance. This gives the extract a completely original sumptuousness which vacillates between intense pleasure and floral headiness.

The rare, precious Extract is not sprayed on like an Eau de Parfum. As the quintessence of the Ange ou Démon fragrance, this exceptional version has such a powerful trail that just a drop on the neck is enough to make its aura vibrate.
