Jasmine is a ‘virtuoso’ flower with an infinite range of gradations. The 2007 Egyptian harvest, with its stunning brilliance and opulence, intensifies the floral harmony of Organza.
Mysteries of Egypt.
The Nile Delta is a highly irrigated region with fertile land, rich in flora. The Mediterranean sun and silty soil provide an ecosystem ideal for the cultivation of jasmine. The jasmine grown there is Jasminum grandiflorum, one of the noblest and most highly scented species of the flower.
In 2007, thanks to constantly high temperatures throughout the flowering period and plenty of rainfall in the Delta region before harvest time, conditions were favourable for the flowers' blossoming. The blossoms absorbed a maximum amount of sunshine, giving them an exceptional fragrance.
Unique qualities. The 2007 harvest of Egyptian jasmine has an intensely suave scent that is also very fresh, fruity and slightly grassy. Its warm, animal-like, powdery notes are diffused over time with great elegance. It intensifies Organza’s radiant, delicate sensuality and gives it a trail of dazzling brilliance.
